Australia’s Liz Cambage threw down the first dunk in Women’s Olympic history this afternoon finally justifying being out of the kitchen to the immediate delight of both her team-mates and the crowd.
I’ll be honest with you, although I applaud the breaking of boundaries through the power of sport and the emphatic arrival of dunking within the womens game that no doubt inspired and empowered females the world over with a ‘CAN DO’ attitude, the first thing I thought of was this:
